CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Ram Bahadur Thapa has said the party should win the local-level elections to institutionalize the agenda of change as republicanism, federalism, secularism and proportional representation.
Addressing a programme organised at the
party headquarters, Perisdanda, on Friday, he said republicanism, federalism,
and secularism are the achievements received under the leadership of the CPN
(Maoist Centre).
Senior leader Thapa argued that his party
should get victory in the three-tier of elections to institutionalize such
achievements.
He also directed the party leaders and
cadres to involve in door-to-door election campaign. According to him, his
party-led government was working to hold the local-level elections to take
Singha Durbar-centric rights in villages.
On a different note, he said the load shedding across
the country has ended in many places of the country. Leader Thapa welcomed more
than 200 people in his party at the programme.
